From a single sample of chicken cells Meatly can create an infinite amount of meat forevermore without ever involving another animal. Meatly’s process involves dramatically less land, water, and co2 than traditional meat. Their process all uses no antibiotics, steroids, hormones, and doesn’t require killing any animals. In July 2024 Meatly became the first company in the world to receive regulatory approval to use cultivated meat in pet food. The company is based in West London and current has 10 employees.
